Belton Lake Fishing Report 05/09/10

Belton remains great fishing, lake is two foot low due to the repairs on the dam. The Black and Smallmouth Bass are in shallow water and can be caught many different ways, Pop-r's or flukes early on points. Then a t-rig or c-rig plastic in watermelon red or watermelon seed will work well, just a little deeper later in the day. The Hybrid's and whites are great also, look for the birds for easy white bass fishing, the Hybrids can be found on points and humps from 30 to 45 foot deep on live shad. I have a special trip for Hybrids, be sure to visit my web site at http://www.waypointguideservice.com/
